Quick Entry0:00
Spending usually takes longest to key in from a fact find. Expenditure Quick Entry puts it all on one screen. The seven categories run in the same order as the fact find, and each one starts with a General line for the monthly total.
Keying totals0:16
Type each figure straight in. The totals, and how many of the seven you've keyed, update as you go.
Suggested items0:23
For more detail, tap a suggested item. Mobile phones come in as one line each, already set to stop on that person's death.
Owner, rule and class0:32
Each line has an owner, an on-death rule and a class, and you click one to change it.
Running totals0:38
The footer keeps a running total, split into essential and lifestyle, and shows what the household would spend if one of them died.
Saving0:47
Changes save automatically. Save and Close takes you back to the Finances tab, with each category's new total.
Testing the budget0:55
Underneath, the overview tests that budget if either of them died or stopped earning, before any cover is counted.
